Shot on location in Goma, Democratic Republic of the Congo. The LCL is a grassroots effort to build a state of the art children’s learning center in one of the poorest neighborhoods on the planet. Construction of the center began in July of 2022. It will feature the latest in technology and literacy tools that will benefit the young people of Goma. Fundraising is ongoing. A bond between Rotary Clubs in Moraga, California, and Goma, bring to bear international partners for this amazing project. This short film, featuring LCL co-founder, Fidel Bafilemba, introduces viewers to the young people who will benefit from this project.
